This expo offers a vast array of career advice, employment opportunities and extensive university and training representation.
Attendee Profile
Based on a survey taken in 2019, these are the demographics of the visitors attending the career expo:
- Age: Majority of attendees are ages 18 to 30 (45%), suggesting that many attendees are seeking early career opportunities. A good chunk of the crowd (35%) is over 31, while the remaining (21%) are VCE students.
- Reason for Attendance: 34% of attendees are actively seeking employment while 35% are looking for reliable career advisers. The remaining 31% are there to gather university options or further training opportunities.
- Level of Education: More than half of the attendees (57%) have qualifications higher than VCE, a direct correlation for the earlier statistics on age and reason for attendance. Meanwhile, 32% are still studying and 11% have completed their VCE.
